KRESAN's latest achievements and upcoming festival
Exciting things are constantly unfolding at KRESAN as we work tirelessly towards a greener, more sustainable future for Haiti. Our dedication to agricultural education and reforestation continues to yield remarkable results, with communities actively participating in our initiatives.
Mark your calendars for our most anticipated event: The 4th Edition Agricultural/Reforestation Festival, taking place on November 17–18, 2026, in the beautiful city of Jacmel, Haiti. This festival promises to be a landmark occasion, bringing together agriculture, health, education, entrepreneurship, and culture in one national event. We invite you to be a part of this transformative experience.

Stories of impact: Planting hope for Haiti's future
One of the most rewarding aspects of KRESAN's work has been witnessing communities come together around a shared purpose—restoring Haiti's environment while investing in future generations. During our previous Festival de Reboisement, held in Ouanaminthe, Fort-Liberté, and Cap-Haïtien, hundreds of volunteers, students, farmers, community leaders, and partner organizations participated in tree-planting activities and educational workshops.
What stood out most was seeing young people proudly planting trees and expressing that they wanted to return in future years to watch them grow. Those moments showed us that we were planting not only trees but also a sense of responsibility and hope for Haiti's future.

Expanding horizons: KRESAN's vision for tomorrow
Another memorable impact came from our agricultural education and community outreach. Farmers and aspiring entrepreneurs shared how learning about sustainable farming practices and agricultural product transformation opened their eyes to new ways of increasing income and reducing waste. KRESAN is entering an exciting new phase of growth. Our immediate focus is the 4th Edition of the Festival de Reboisement, taking place on November 17–18, 2026, in Jacmel, Haiti. This year's festival will expand beyond tree planting by bringing together agriculture, health, education, entrepreneurship, and culture in one national event.
One of our biggest priorities is strengthening the connection between reforestation and food security. Through agricultural education and product transformation workshops, we want to help farmers and entrepreneurs create value-added products that generate income while increasing the availability of locally produced food. Our long-term vision is to support Haiti's school canteen program by encouraging local agricultural production that helps provide nutritious meals for children.
Looking ahead, KRESAN plans to expand our annual Festival de Reboisement to additional regions of Haiti, reaching more communities each year and launching year-round tree-planting initiatives.
